To kick off the spring semester, Vincennes University has planned a series of events to help students connect, explore opportunities, and have some fun, too.
All events listed take place at the Jefferson Student Union.
From 6–8 p.m. on Wednesday there will be a Trivia Night where students can enjoy snacks and test their knowledge, while also meeting fellow classmates.
Then from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, students can attend the Part-Time Job Fair, where they can explore a range of flexible job opportunities. Employers such as FASTENAL, Trilogy Health Services, Home Instead, Sodexo, Culver’s, KCARC, Good Samaritan Hospital, The Pantheon, Pea-fections, and the Army National Guard will be present and able to talk with students. This event allows an opportunity to network with professionals and take steps toward landing their next role.
And from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday students can discover new passions at the Club and Organization Fair. While the full list of participating clubs is not yet confirmed, VU offers a wide variety of activities and groups to get involved in this year.
To wrap up the week from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, there will be a Karaoke Night. Students can sing their hearts out while also, enjoying snacks, and relaxing with friends.
