Vincennes University will host a program on Nov. 9 to honor veterans in the Vincennes community and all veterans who have fought for our freedom.
Sponsored by the VU Support Staff Council, the Veterans Day Program is at 11 a.m. at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center, 20 W. Red Skelton Blvd. The event is open to the public.
The keynote speaker is U.S. Navy Capt. David Miller. The program will also feature the American Legion Post #73, American Legion Post Commanders, Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum, Lincoln High School JROTC, Rodney Watts, Preston Ratliff, and the All Weather Firing Squad.
It will include performances by the VU Pep Band and VU Concert Choir, too.
