Khadijah Doumbia
I’m from Indianapolis, IN and I’ve always loved writing and finding out the truth about things going on in our world. This will be my second semester being a part of the VU Trailblazer, and my goal for the semester is to get more students reading our newspaper and also take on bigger roles in the newsroom. By coming to Vincennes University, I hope to earn an associate degree in journalism and eventually broadcast journalism. I enjoy covering stories about student life and human interest stories. Outside of the newsroom I love to write poetry and short stories. My favorite subjects in school include English and government. My future plans are to finish college with a masters degree in African studies, write a book and live the rest of my life as a writer/journalist.
