Savannah Boone

Savannah Boone, Editor

Hello! My name is Savannah Boone. I’m 20 years old and I’m a journalism student here at Vincennes University. I’m from a small town just up the road, called Linton. I’m a very unique individual because I’m a survivor of what is called AT/RT brain cancer. I was diagnosed when I was 15 and endured many rounds of chemo and radiation treatments. Ever since being declared in remission in March of 2017, my goal has been to graduate from college with my journalism degree to become either a magazine columnist or a technical writer. Ever since I was little, my passions have included writing and reading stories. I also love listening to music. I’m looking forward to continuing to write for The Trailblazer and bettering my skills as Editor this semester!
